Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show

The Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show, is the fourth largest fair in Ontario.  In the recent “Premiere Ranked” process for Ontario’s South Coast and Beyond, the Norfolk County Fair and Fairgrounds was a “core attractor” for tourism, seeing close to 500,000 visitors to the fairgrounds annually. The fair alone attracts close to 120,000 visitors annually.

 

The Fair is a showcase for the best that Norfolk has to offer. Over $120,000 in prize money is offered for garden products, prized giant pumpkins, plants and flowers, cattle, sheep, goats, equine competitions and many, many more making it the highest amount of prize money offered in Ontario at a fall fair.

Local farmers bring their value-added products to the fair and offer them for sale to our visitors in a specialized “supermarket” deli concept.  A "must see" at the Fair, visitors have a chance to taste and take home with them the many wonderful products from Norfolk such as peanuts, cider, produce, oils, jams, jellies, maple syrup and more. Just a few steps away wallk into "Eat & Drink at FlavourFest" an array of local restaurants, breweries, wineries and distilleries, sit down and relax in an elegant setting while watching celebrity chefs cook up a storm and then enjoy nightly entertainment

The Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show offers the grandstand shows featuring the best in Canadian talent such as Barenaked Ladies, Paul Brandt, Blue Rodeo, Colin James, Tom Cochrane with Red Ryder, Doc Walker, Emerson Drive, Terri Clark, Burton Cummings,  Chantal Kreviazuk, Dean Brody and many more.
